NOTE TO COMPETITORS:
The following needs to be true:
1) One needs to be a member of USA Dance, not necessarily a student member of USA Dance, though most of the participants at NCC are student members; and
2) One needs to be either a full or half-time student (as determined by the school, usually 12 credits a semester or 4-6 credits a quarter) with a valid student ID which you get if you are a 1/2 time student; and
3) One needs to be between the ages of 16 & 35.
ALSO: Each INDIVIDUAL competitor is limited to FIVE entries in each style (Standard, Latin, Smooth, Rhythm) with a MAXIMUM of TEN entries for the weekend. Fun events are exempt from this restriction.
PLEASE REGISTER IN ADVANCE - ONLINE
Please read below BEFORE proceeding to ONLINE REGISTRATION
Collect the membership numbers of your teammates BEFORE entering online. Use the membership numbers to make the entry process EASIER. (enter a correct number and the persons information appears). If a dancer does not have a USA Dance membership yet, use the dropdown next to membership number to select a temporary ID. Use one number for each individual - Do NOT create a new member ID for every entry. PLEASE READ INSTRUCTIONS on the entry form, if you have not used the system before.
TEAM MATCHES and FORMATION TEAMS You can enter your Formation and Team Match teams with the online registration. The entry only accepts 2 names right now. Enter the team captain name as the lead (Man), and be creative with the follow (Lady) to describe your team/routine.
NO PARTNER?
For all competitors who do not have a partner, please register with your partner's name as "TBA, TBA". By doing this, you will allow us to schedule the events appropriately.
There will be a "Partner Search" area at the NCC, there anyone looking for a partner will be able to connect with someone who is also looking for a partner. Be sure to register your new partnership and entry at registration at least 30 minutes before the event starts.
Late entries (After Monday Nov. 5) will only be accepted at the discretion of the organizer. To ensure you can dance the events you want, REGISTER NOW! Deadline: NOVEMBER 5, 2007

*Please note that while the International Standard and Latin styles have relatively consistent syllabus lists throughout the world, the American Smooth and Rhythm syllabus lists can differ significantly depending on the organization which provides them. Because of the differences between various syllabi, syllabus events in the American styles at USADance competitions will require that the competitors stay within the technical difficulty of the proficiency level in which they are dancing (Bronze, Silver, Gold) but not necessarily within a specific set of steps. The American syllabi provided should be used as a measure of the difficulty of each proficiency level for the Rhythm and Smooth styles. Our syllabus lists are based on the syllabi of the United States Imperial Society for the Teachers of Dance (USISTD).
